Biography
Cilou Annys is a Belgian beauty pageant contestant from Bruges who won Miss Belgium 2010 on Sunday 1 January 2010. She is also Miss West Flanders.
Cilou Annys, the 80th Miss Belgium, accepted the crown from Zeynep Sever, Miss Belgium 2009.
The 18 year old brunette studies interpreting and translation (French and Spanish) at the "Hogeschool Gent" in Ghent.
She will compete in Miss Universe 2010 and Miss World 2010. Her first runner-up, Lien Aernouts (Miss Flemish Brabant) will represent Belgium at the Miss International contest while her second runner-up, Binta Telemans (Miss Brussels) will compete in Miss Europe 2010 and Miss Tourism 2010 pageants


Cilou Annys was crowned Miss Belgium during a ceremony at the casino of Knokke on January 10, 2010. Forty percent of the Miss Belgium comes from the judges, 40 percent by televoting and the other 20 percent from president of the Miss Belgium organizing committee, Darline Devos. The said event was hosted by former Miss Belgium titleholders: 1997 Miss Belgium Sandrine Corman and 1995 Miss Belgium Veronique De Kock.

Cilou is from Bruges, the capital city of West Flanders which is referred as “The Venice of the North.” She is 19 years old and stands 5’10″. She is the current endorser for Samsung Diva lady phones.

According to tennisinfo.be, Cilou will wear a white tennis outfit with a tennis ball in her hair as an accessory for the Miss Universe 2010 national costume competition. Designer Nicky Vankets said that the tennis outfit is filled with crystals and a little rack wide trail in the Belgian flag. He said that the tennis outfit was inspired by the country’s best tennis players Kim Clijsters and the Justine Henin.
