Lourdes Arevalos landed third runner-up in 2006's Miss Universe pageant.
Lourdes Verónica Arévalos Elias  represented her country in the Miss Universe 2006 pageant, held in Los Angeles, USA on July 23, 2006. She won the title of 3rd Runner-up. In the same year she represented Paraguay in the Reina Sudamericana 2006 beauty pageant and won the title of 2nd Runner-up.
