Biography
Mariana Paola Vicente was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 1989. Mariana was exposed to the world of arts and entertainment since she was very young. At 4 years of age she entered in the Dance Academy with Yolanda Muñoz and later on with Vanessa Padilla. She took infant modeling classes with Nairda Hernandez, entered painting classes with Andy Bueso participating in international collections of children paintings, dominated poetry reciting wining first place in every week of the arts competition of her elementary school Cupeyville School, took singing lessons with Fonava and also experimented piano and guitar lessons. As her hobby she likes writing, singing and photography. Reading and spending time with her siblings are part of her relaxation habits. When she was a child, Mariana participated in various TV commercials. But it wasn't until she turned 14 years old that she had the opportunity of participating in her high school’s fashion show where she called the attention of the media. In only two weeks she was already modeling in the San Juan Fashion Week for Mirtha Rubio and studying in the modeling school of top model Ann La Place, Element.

In 2005 she was the winner of Imagen Magazine’s Face of L’Oreal, this opening many doors to other means who are still using her image in Puerto Rico and internationally. Four years after, in 2009 she was chosen between 40 participants as Miss Universe Puerto Rico 2010, winning throughout the process the awards for Best Runway Walk, Best Body, Best Image for JC Penney and Most Beautiful Face for L’Bel Paris. A year later, she goes on to qualify in Top 10 in the Miss Universe 2010 Competition held in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mariana Paola Vicente is characterized by her enthusiasm, spontaneity and caring way with all that have worked with her. Her beauty grows from inside where nothing has ever changed her genuine personality. She has always left a great impression in everyone who have had the opportunity to meet her. As her future plans she will continue to study acting in Brian Reise Acting Studios in Hollywood.
